Reporting a geometry problem
The checks run on geometry, but a real cutting table has more to say than a check does. If a piece gave you trouble, say which pattern, which panel width, which technique and which piece number: the pattern is regenerated from geometry, so a genuine problem can be fixed for everyone who buys that configuration afterwards.

What to include in a sizing question
Give the opening measured at top, middle and bottom, the perimeter material you plan to use, and whether this is a first panel or a fifth. Those three facts are enough to name a pattern and a workable width, and they save a round trip. A nominal figure taken from a window catalogue is not enough, because frames are rarely square and the smallest of the three measurements is the one that decides.
